If you have a sphere made of Iron and its mass is 225kg. How do you find its radius in meters?

  1. density iron 7870 kg/m³

    225kg / 7870 kg/m³ = 0.0286 m³

    V = ⁴/₃πr³

    0.0286 = ⁴/₃πr³

    r = 0.407 m

  2. You need the density of iron. Using the density and the mass you can calculate the volume (d=m/v). Then you can rearrange the volume of a sphere equation v=(4pir^3)/3 to get 3v/4pi=r^3 Then just cube root the answer, and there you go.
