Find someone with only first letter of last name?!

okay well i know the first letter of the last name... well i know the last name, but not the spelling. I know the city he lives in. Is there ANY way to find him online in something like yellowpages!?!?! PLEASE HELP!! 10 points and my thanks for forever (:
