  1. What do you mean by banned? No game from the 1974 Lions tour in South Africa was banned. The Lions became (in)famous for the "99" call which meant a free for all when a team member was involved in a brawl. On YouTube there is a scene from a test match - type 99 call.

  2. the battle at boer? you can get it on youtube, it isnt great, just type in ali williams punch (which you'll get, watch it, and after the vid a few links to other videos will appear on the screen on which you just watched the ali williams punch. wait a few minutes while these videos change, and there should be one called 99 call

  3. League or Yawnion??

    Marshy,  where u from?

  4. I've been checking this one since you asked the question - I too would like to get hold of it. I had it when I was a kid as part of a Lions series video set but I lost that along with my 101 best tries collection when I moved house a long time ago.

In the meantime you can get the whole of the Barbarians v NZ - 1973 - Cardiff Arms Park match at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...

This is an amazing game, one of the best ever. I was 5 years away from being born at the time but I've been following rugby all my life and I've never seen a try even remotely resembling "that try", the opening move of which begins around the 4 minute 15 mark of this google video. Every time I watch Edwards come screaming onto that pass hairs stand up on the back of my neck and I don't think Carter or McCaw have done enough yet to take this guys's crown as the best player of all time.

  5. If this is to do with union, I couldn't care I'm a League fan
