Find the domain of the following equation algebraicly.

f(x)=3x-1/(x+3)(x-1)

  1. f(x) = (3x-1)/((x+3)(x-1))

    The domain is all real numbers except x= - 3 and x=1.  If x= - 3 or x=1, then you'd have a denominator of zero, and you can't divide by zero.
