  1. y= -9x+10

  2. y = mx + b (General formula of a linear function).

    y = y coordinate

    x = x coordinate

    m = slope

    b = y intercept

    First you find the slope of the line, which is the (change in y) / (change in x).

    So basically it's just (y#2 - y#1) / (x#2 - x#1).

    So it's (-8 - 19) / (2 - -1) which is (-27) / (3) which is -9.

    The slope is m = -9.

    Then you take one of the coordinates and plug it into the general equation. I'm going to use (-1, 19). (x, y)

    19 = (-9)(-1) + b

    19 = 9 + b

    10 = b

    So the equation is y = -9x + 10.

    Feel free to check it again. Hope it helps!

  3. use the slope forumula , then y = mx + b
