Find the largest set S of values of x such that the function f(x) = 1 / (sqrroot (3-x^2)) takes real values?

I have no idea what this question is asking for....can someone work it out for me please!

  1. For f(x) be real,

    3-x^2 need to be >=0

    that means x^2 <= 3

    or   -sqrroot (3) <= x  <= sqrroot (3)
