  1. m( your slope) = Y2 - Y1  over x2 - x1

  2. Slope= change in y/change in x

    change in y= 9-4=5

    change in x= -3-3= -6

    slope =-5/6

    equation

    y-4=(-5/6)(x-3)

    y-4=(-5/6)x-(-15/6)

    y-4=(-5/6)x+(5/2)

    The equation of the line:

    y=(-5/6)x+(13/2)
