  1. The volume of a pyramid is V =1/3 Bh where B is the area of the base and h the height from the base to the apex.

    The base of the pyramid is 250².

    The volume of the pyramid is 1/3 (250² * 150) or

    (250² * 150)/3

    (62500 * 150)/3

    9375000/3

    3,125,000 Cubic Feet

  2. Area of the base * Height * 1/3 = Volume

    250ft^2 * 150ft * 1/3 = V

    62500sqrft*150ft*1/3=V

    9375000cubicft.*1/3=V

    3125000cubicft=V

  3. your formula is 1/2 the base * the height:

    so it would be:

    250*250 = 62500/2=31250 <-- area of half the base

    31250*150=4687500 ft^3

    Hope that helps =D
