Find your olympic team?

Like how to you know what team you would be on if you were in the olympics? Like is it were you live or were you were born? I waz born in america but parents from india, what team would i be on? just wanted to know?

I think you'd be on Team USA because that's where you were born, making you an American citizen. Unless you have dual citizenship. Then I have no idea.
