Noo clue how to do this!!

Calculate how much work you need to move the 130 N trunk to a ledge 2 m above.

  1. a joule is a Nm or newton meter. work is force times displacement. so 130Nx2m= 260Nm= 260J


  2. Work is the product of force and distance. You already know the force, which is 130 N. Simply multiply by two meters.

    W = Fd = 130 N x 2.0 m = 260 J

  3. Work = Force (N) x Distance moved (m). ( = Nm or Joules).

    = 130N x 2m = 260 J.
