Question:

Finding a home for a Puppy?

We need to find a home for our Rottie/Beagle mix. He's nine months old. He's just not working out. We don't want to take him to a place where he'll be in a cage until someone picks him out. We need and want a home for him. It breaks our hearts, but it is the best for him. So, do you put an ad in the paper, put signs up? What do you do?

  1. Get in touch with some local rescue groups and give them info on your dog.  They have lots of resources and if you are willing to hold onto the puppy for awhile they will most likely help you find him a home.  If you place an ad, please PLEASE ask for a small rehoming fee.  When people post free dog, that brings some very bad people out and interested.  Good luck

  2. yes...put signs  up at the local farm store, local vet offices.

    Also try Hoobly.com

                Puppyfind.com

and Kijiji.com       all free websites to post him.  People can find the city nearest them to find him...

    hope this helps..
