Finding a horse to claim at Tampa Bay Downs?

Question

I want to claim a horse at Tampa Bay Downs in the next couple of weeks, but not sure what to look for or which one. Any ideas. Specific horses would be awesome.

Talk to the Trainers @ Tampa Bay Downs.

AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A "VET"

TO MAKE SURE THE HORSE IS SOUND.

1. select a trainer, because you have to have one to make a claim

2. ask his advice as he should know about some horses that are worth the tag

3. pray your selection doesnt breakdown in the race, cause once the gate opens , he is yours

A maiden from a reputable stable that comes inot the claiming ranks for the second time.. a gelding is the best for a runner but a colt will prove more rank and cost more in the long run. Watch for old time breeding on the mare side.. hope it helps!!
