Question:

Finding a job abroad?

I am an Industrial Engineer who is about to graduate next Spring semester. I am really interested in working abroad, specifically in Japan, because I love it there. I have heard that if I get sent abroad by a company in the United States (where I live), then where I am working in the other country is mainly Americanized. So my question is, how do I find jobs in my field in the U.S. that will offer to send me to Japan?

  1. Your best chance is to work for a Japan based company like Toyoto. They often send their people to plants around the work, and their managers and engineers to Japan to learn about different processes and management styles. Best of luck!
