Question:

Finding a nursing job in Ireland?

My husband and I are planning to move to Ireland in a few years (from the states), he already has his Irish citizenship so we don't have to get working visas and all of that craziness. I'm in school to get my RN right now and I was wondering:

1) Are there any major differences between nursing in the states and nursing in Ireland?

2) Is there a large job market open for nurses in Ireland?

  1. There is currently a shortage of RNs in every English speaking country in the world. You should have no trouble finding employment in Ireland. There are no 'major' differences in nursing procedures in Great Britain...Hope this helps you.
