So I want a part time job within a week to support my live in nz while looking for piano teacher job. Is it possible? What town should I stay? What visa should I have? thanks

  1. 1. You are on the Australian site so to get more helpful (relevant) answers you should probably post on the travel-new zealand option.

    2. Visas - i didnt check which country you are from. Unless you hold an NZ passport or are an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident you will need a visa to work in  NZ. If you are under 30 you might qualify for a Working Holiday visa but you should do a google search for that. Google New Zealand embassy or New Zealand High Commission (if from a commonwealth country) and you should be able to find it.

    3. There are many different towns you could stay in, but, without a visa you won't be able to work. Check into the visa option first then look into towns.

  2. re-list this Q in the New Zealand section

Also http://www.immigration.govt.nz/ the new zealand immigration website should answer your queries relating to visas
