I'm a very keen shooter I'm 14, and I've just been shooting with my dad and the .22. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to find a property to go shooting on in Qld, places like Mitchell and St. George. Dads licence expired a while ago so we havent been shooting much. And to get a lisence we need to find a propert to shoot on, and if anyone knows a good way to find people that wouldnt mind some pest control, please let me know. And how good are .22-250s and .22 foxes i think there called, for shooting foxes, cats and some small game.

Thanks

  1. G'Day mate yr dad doesn't need property all he has to do is go to (natural resources and environment) and pay about $11 to $15 that's for hunting on government land and he puts the paper they give him with the application for a firearm, and send it off.Well that what i do, but I'm in Victoria. And he can join a gun club also. some do both i think its 75 bucks a year.but that ssaa.cheers mate
