Finding a place to have a dance in Phoenix, AZ.?

Help!!! Here is the deal: I am the StuCo Treasurer for AZVA (Arizona Virtual Academy). We are a public school in the home, online. This is our first year having a dance (our HS is 4 yrs old..) and since we are an online school in the home, we don't have a physical location. The result no place for us to have the dance... That presents just one issue...

Our other issue is that we don't have any money (not the school the council) however we can get a temporary loan from the school for this. That means we need to find a cheap(er) place.

Sadly... We can't find a decent place to have this dance... The schools bussiness department approved May 23rd as the date we can have our dance (which makes it hard to find a place cause that is the day of HS graduation for all the schools in Phx).

So please, please, please, please if you have any ideas, suggestions, know of a place that is cheap, big and in phx let me know!!!

Try a roller skating rink; big empty space, existing sound system

Ask your state governor to provide a location. It would be great p.r. for him. why not have it amongst the petrified logs in the square outside Government House in Phoenix? Ring up a radio station to get assistance to for a band,etc.  Good luck. But your studies are more important than this, do not forget.
