I'm trying to find a possibly adopted family member. When we were young my dad ran a foster home, and we had this boy who lived with us from the day he was born, till he was 5 or 6. I can't really remember how old he was at the time, but he was given back to his mom, only to be taken away again months later. All I know is he was in a foster home (I know the name and all) in 2002. He would be 18 now, turning 19 in october (I remember his birthday, 10/18/1988, and his full name). Does anyone know how I can find him? other than the phone book and myspace :) Something reliable..

when we were little, my brothers, sisters and i promised ourselves we'd someday pay Unsolved Mysteries to find him...we cried for months when he left us, and he's never left our hearts. It's truely like we lost our brother. My sister called me today with news that someone saw him doing construction a week ago in our town, so I know he's local, but his last name might be different....Thanks

  1. Have you tried the Salvation Army they are a good source of help or even the adoption agencies BUT you might come up against red tape on that side..

Doesn't your Parents know where he went back to if they fostered him for a while,

Have you also tried Face book or even Genes-reunited or Friends reunited as well..

Anything is better than nothing at all,,

Good luck with your research, keep trying

  2. Would it make sense to ask your sister who saw him, then ask that person where she/he saw him, then GO there and ask around? Like "What company was working here on the site last week?"

That would make more sense to me than asking the world via Y!A. I don't have all the facts, of course, but it looks easy when the detectives do it on television.
