A couterclockwise torque of 0.96 Nm is applied to a bicycle wheel of radius 33 cm and mass 0.77 kg. what is the angular acceleration vector?

    1. Mass of the spokes is negligible.

    2. Thickness of the tube is negligible compared to the radius of the wheel.

    Moment of inertia I = M * R^2,

    where M = mass of wheel = 0.77 kg

    R = 33 cm = 0.33 m

    Calculate I now.

    Torque = 0.96 Nm

    Angular acceleration = Torque/I

    Calculate the rest.
