Finding family in Germany?

What is the best way to find a family member in Germany for free? Ive tried international phone books online, but im not sure of the parents names, just a daughters name. Can someone help?

You need to know the last name and the location (city).

tell me the last name and the City they live and i look for u because the German online phone book is in German an that's a little bit complicate

If you don't know the family name it's virtually impossible.

If you're lucky and at least know the city AND the given

name is a rare one you might end up with a group that's

actually "testable" against the phone book. But chances

for that aren't too good.
