  1. seek.com is just a website that advetises for jobs. What I would suggest is when you move here, that you have a look at your local paper and usually job agencies advertise on the paper. I am with Action Workforce, and they help you look for work. It also depends what work you may wan to do look at the following link...

    http://www.yellowpages.com.au/search/pos...

look at this link it has all thae agencies of where you will be living.

  2. i want job soon

  3. No, not really.  What generally happens is most of the general jobs from admin, to waitressing, to senior PA/secretarial, labouring etc are handled by mostly big agencies.  You have a better chance of getting a job if you go where more of the jobs are advertised.

    You could try places like

Julia Ross, Ross Directions - all same place

    Hudson

    Kelly

    Adecco

    Select

    Skilled

There are a lot - but the above ones will do for a start.

You NEVER pay anyone in Australia to get you a job - it is illegal.

    CERTIFICATES

You will need to get your certificates and other qualifications accredited through the overseas qualifications service otherwise they mean nothing and will not have any value.  Australia is a signatory to the International Qualifications System, we call it AQS.  All qualifications are graded against the international standard.  You pay to get your certificates accredited.  You can either find the overseas qualifications office online, or email Centrelink and ask for the contact details.

    VISA

You will need to show the appropriate Visa to each prospective employer and agency - it is illegal for an employer or agent to employ someone who does not have an appropriate Visa.  You also generally need to prove your identity (as well as the Visa) when you sign up for a job - signing up for a job means paying local taxes, getting local workcover insurance, and superannuation.  You will need to think about what to do for health cover - as unless you are entitled to buy health cover in Australia (e.g. you are an Australia resident, or are entitled to immediate Australian residency) you must pay for all services in public hospitals - it can be around the same cost as private health service so it is worth it to do the health/medical cover research.

Do NOT pay any money to join websites to supposedly get you jobs.  These sites are technically illegal because under Australian law to pay to be a member of the site is the same as asking someone to pay to get a job - the Government is slowly closely down these sites - and you could loose your money.

Do NOT pay anyone who offers to give you accommdoation and a job - you pay just for the accommodation; promises of work again is illegal.

    SUGGEST

You ignore Mark M - the type of thing suggeted is illegal, dubious, and does not look good on a resume in future.
