Finding my brother who got adopted...?

Question

My mom was 16 when she had a baby, she gave the baby up for adoption, and will not give me any details about it. It has been very hush hush up untill a couple of years ago when I found out "on accident" and now I'm curious as to how I go about finding my brother...I don't really have any information, since my mom won't give me any...thanks any help would be great

dont know how old your brother would be now but why not try genes reunited,i found my husbands biological father on there,its pretty good,but you would need some more info from your mum,hopr you find him loads of luck to you

oh well if you knew his name then you can look up the name on the internet, or the police officers will help you. Good Luck!!!

This will be very tough to do. . .but not impossible. contact the police and inform them on what you are trying to do. try to get at least a name or country, or at least an adoption agency out of your om. try googling his name, or your last name. hope you find him. sit down with your mom and explain how important it is to you that you at least know SOMETHING about him! try hard, and commit fully. . . you'll succeed!

If your mom was 16 then she probley used her maiden name on birth certicate.. why not try and search the state that she lived in then and also use her age now and calulate the year,
