  1. -log (1 x 10^-5)

    Although this is easy because the answer would just be 5

    Like

    [H+] = 10^-1 is a pH of 1

    [H+] = 10^-2 is a pH of 2

    etc.

  2. negative log function of the [H]

    have fun, chemistry, lo;

  3. If you have a log table nearby, the quickest way to do these problem is :  Given [H+]= n x 10^-m, pH= 5-log n.
