Question:

Finding the adoptive parents?

For those of you that haven't seen my other question, I'm fighting to get my baby back from a wrongful adoption. (I was lied to about my options and drug tested were falsified). I have a court hearing set up and we have to serve the aparents the papers, but we have no way of knowing where they are as they refuse to answer any phone calls from me, my attorney, or even the Governor's office. Does anyone have any advice on how we can track them down? Oh, and I want to thank everyone who's shown me support thus far.

  1. I would not advise you to lie or be deceitfully it will just come to bite you in the rear end in court. If you have their names then trying 411 or other people address searches would be a good idea. With some you will have to shell out money for information.

  2. Also try  www.zabasearch.com

Do you know the names of any of relatives? Friends? Employers? Anything that might have been mentioned.

    Good luck.

    You're in my prayers!

  3. Well since their refusing to answer your phone calls, you have their phone number so try doing a reverse look up on www.411.com if you live in the states or www.canada411.com if your in canada as long as the phone number isnt unlisted it should spit back at you the name of the person & most likely the address too.

try googling the last name or the full name too. If they've moved in the past 6 months they may be having their mail forwarded, in canada if they have, canada post will supply you with that info so long as they didnt check off the very tiny box at the bottom that most dont notice saying not too

If they have a yahoo, hotmail, or facebook account, try looking them up you'd be surprised how many people will put their address on them.

You can also try being sneaky. Don't feel bad doing this... especially given your circumstances. Here's a trick I tried when searching for my ex to serve papers for child support... I had a friend call... we *67 the number.  "hi I'm from trites florist shop, we have a delivery of flowers for Mrs. X, but the address we have here isnt right, what would the address be for delivering?"

Sure lies, but hey whatever works

  4. Can you  contact child aid services?  I went through the adoption process to adopt a child, and it seems they were very helpful and fair to both bio parents and adoptive parents.

They might be able to lead you in the right direction.

  5. Do you know their last name?

In my state if you know their last name, you can go to the post ofc and pay like $2.00 to get their current address.  Its been like 6 yrs since i've done this i hope its still current.

    Good Luck!

I'm hoping you get your baby soon!

  6. contact child aid services g00d luck

  7. I feel for your terrible situation and for that of the adoptive parents.  It's a nightmare for everyone concerned.

I really think that any contacting of the adoptive parents needs to be done through your lawyer, rather than you trying to contact them directly.  I'm sure there is some legal recourse that the courts can take.

  8. hey sweetie! ii can see your going trought alot. I dont know if can help u but all i can do is PRAY for you and ur baby! MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
