Finding the estimated stock price based on past and future data?

Here's what I am trying to do:

I have daily stock prices from 6/26/08-7/25/08.

I have the stock price for 12/31/08 and then for 12/31/09.

I want to graph all of these prices, then find the estimated price for 6/25/09 based on this graph (based on the slope, I guess).

Is there any way to do this in Excel (or any other way?) Thank you!

Yes you can use Excel to make the chart, but If it were that simple, we would all be rich!

You say you have the stock price for 12/31/08 and then for 12/31/09.You don't.  You probably have someones estimate.



If you believe the estimate, and it's higher then the purchase price, buy it. Someone else has already done the work.

The question is ---do you believe?
