  1. your owners manual will tell you where the paint code is...renaults somtimes have an oval alloy plate with the code stamped into it.

  2. it will be on your vin sticker normally on the drivers side b-post,there will be an oval shape on the sticker with a code it will have two letters and three numbers (MV123)

  3. if you ring up renault they will give you the paint code, have you tried   t-cut to cover them up a bit cos if you start painting over them you might end up with patches where the new paint doesn't match the old one

  4. Go into Halfords, they have a booklet with all the colours for each year - and usually the paint too

  5. The number and letters are stencilled, in white, on the bulkhead under the bonnet. Good luck. h

  6. There are two way to find out the paint colour, first find the paint code on the identification plate either under the bonnet or fitted on the inside of the door pillar. The other way is to go to a paint supplier and tell them the make and model of the car, they normally have a book of paint samples that you can compare to your car.

    Ja.

  7. Yes.  Under the bonnet is a plate which will contain the engine and chassis numbers, it also carries the paint code.  This will be something apparently meaningless like EK14b rather than sky blue.  However it will be precisely what you need to get the touch-up paint you need.  If you are not very confident go to the main dealer's parts department and ask the assistant to check it for you.

  8. it's called the paint code.

ask your dealer or mechanic where specifically on your car it is
