Finding wholesalers?

im starting my own business i know where to get the LLC the tax ID now i just need to find wholesalers... real ones that require a tax id any ideas?

Start out where you see similar products as yours.  When you find something, ask the owner or the purchasing agent where they get it.  Contact that company and see if they have room for your product too.  Maybe you can pick up some business cards and glean some info from them and expand your search.  Another way might be to contact those owners and purchasing agents and say "hey, how'd you like to knock 20% off the price of this product and have it delivered direct?"

Well it depends what kind of business you want to do for instance I own a clothing store so i go to shows, or go to vendors permanent showrooms & order online & catalogs etc..... But pretty much any company has a wholesale section or you just email them & ask thats what i do.

What you can do is go online and type in wholesale goods and there will be lots of things you can choose from.

Well since you do not list what you would like to sale.. You can always check out this link  http://dollardays.com/ as they offer thousands of items that you re-sale.... They will ask for your ID numbers, most items from them are in bulk. They also show your cost as well as MSRP.
