  1. y = -4x - x^2

    so when x=0==> y=0   (0,0)

    also by facotrign u can find x intercepts

    0 = -4x - x^2

    0=-x(4+x)

    so by the zero property -x=0 or 4+x=0

    so x=0 as we've alreeady found or x = -4

  2. The x-intercept is when y = 0

    y = -4x - x²

    (-x - 2 )(x -2) = 0

    x = -2 and x = 2

    The y-intercept is when x = 0

    y = 0
