Fing irs just hung u on me!?

really i was going to ask why there a july 4 date when no mail sereivce runs for those paper checks.

and when they would send those pacakge of checks out to people.

told me to call the next day. =|

The July 4 date is the date that set of payments was mailed BY.

I was in that group, and got mine on Monday July 7.

July 4th was a national holiday - all federal and state offices were closed, which includes the IRS & the US Mail service.  This means checks would have been sent out the following business day (Monday, July 7th) instead.

irs tax refund machines run 24/7. so the dates change every 24 hours. the checks go to the usps to be del'y. if some take longer to get cashed, that money earns interest. maybe 100 million dollars.

Well i must agree with you i got my check on the 7th and it was dated for the 4th of July who knew they would actually print out the checks on a holiday..
