Hi, Ive recently had a Pyogenic Granuloma legion on my finger and had to have it removed by a MD. As espected, he administed a Local Anaesthetic at the base of my finger to freeze it and cut & cauterize the PG. They anaesthetic were administered at approxamatly 1:30PM and it is now 11:00 PM and my finger is somewhat still frozen (if I pinch it, I feel it a little) and my finger is still numb and im still experiencing the "thingling" feelling. Should I be concerned about nerve damage or do finger anaesthetic usualy last this long? Any help is really appreciated.

Here is some information:

Injected @ 1:30PM

Injected @ base of finger 4 times

It is now 11:00 PM and still have tingling and numbness (9 & half hour have passed)

  1. By now how is your finger?. Has it returned to normal? It is possible that an excess of local has been given. If your finger is normal now there is nothing to worry.
