Why re-invent the wheel?  Scarcity brings value, and there is no scarcity in business directories.  Google all but killed the business directory site.  The only reason Thomasnet exists is that they have decades of experience in dealing with suppliers and many industrial firms do not appear in Google properly.

You can't sell something that people don't want.   So I'd spend my time on something really remarkable instead.
