Finiancial aid question (undergraduate)?

I was just wondering, my parents make more then 250k a year with their salaries combined, but they are not going to help me pay for my college tuition. When filling out my FAFSA, i have to be marked as a dependent since i don't qualify to be an independent. Thus i'm required to give them all of my parent's financial information. Which will most likely cause me not to get any aid or be granted any sort of loan.

Does anyone have any advice on what i can do to get low interest loans? My college costs around 50k a year.

My name is Maureen Silver, life is worthy liveing again for me and my family and i every day of my life i peek thinking God  for using one God fearing lender to help me, i was in a very big problem with the bank where i borrowed loan of $130,000 USD before the time that was giveing to repay back the loan i lost my first child in a car accident and i was also paralised, because of that i was not able to repay back the loan to the bank were i got the loan from, and the bank was not helping matters in any way so one day i really think of what to do to repay back the loan to the bank, then i think of yahoo answers and i saw so many people saying they are lenders but because of what i have had about scams on the internet i did not who to contact for the loan, but as God will have it i happen to in the right part with Mr Collins Silver who help me with a loan amount of $130,000 USD, so i say to myself that i am not going to keep this good news to myself because so many people out there did not know that there are still God fearing lenders like Mr Collins Silver.

Any body that is really in need of a loan and that is willing to repay back the loan should contact Mr Collins Silver via this e-mail adderss collins.lenders001@gmail.com

My best regards to you all in Jesus name.

  2. If you are thinking about getting a loan, then you should know about the basics before you get started. If you understand the basic dos and don’ts of loans, then you will be better equipped to find the best loan for your needs. Whatever type of loan you are applying for, you should follow these basic rules to help you find the best deal. When searching for a loan, it pays to do your research. Look for as many suitable lenders as you can, so that you can find the very best deal. There are many online pages that<!--allow you to compare loan rates from a variety of lenders. As well as looking online, check out your high street banks and mortgage lenders for deals too. You may find the loan that you need here,

If possible, try and avoid taking out secured loans. If the amount you need to borrow is small or you have good enough credit to borrow without collateral, then do so. Although unsecured loans have higher rates, they are less risky because your home will not be at risk if you cannot make the payments.Try and take a loan out over the shortest period-->you can afford. Taking loans out over 10 years or more can be risky, and you cannot be sure what your financial situation will be at that time.

  3. You will not get a Pell grant or anything like that, but you can get a stafford loan regardless of what they make.

You can also apply for private loans.

You should probably go speak with someone at your college's financial aid department to help you, or find your financial advisor.

  4. Anyone can get a Stafford loan regardless of parents income.  Unfortunately, you can only borrow 3,500 per year as a freshman.  You might want to ask your folks to kick in the extra 46,500 for the next 4 years if you want to attend a school that expensive.

If they refuse, you can start at a community college and transfer in later when you are able to borrow more as a Jr or senior (5,500 per year).  This is why community colleges are so popular.
