Finishing high school out of state?!

If moving out of state for the remainder of high school (half of sophomore year or just junior and senior) will, in any way, hinder my ability to get into a University of California or State school here in CA?

Would the standards be different in that i couldn't take the classes required in california?

  1. You need to look at the requirements for admission to the University of California and make sure you take the correct courses. They might take fewer out of state students. This would mean that you might have to be more qualified to get accepted as an out of state student. Some highly desirable state schools draw heavily from students in the home state (such as the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina). Just make sure your grades are really good.
