Sporting director of Fiorentina, Daniele Prade, has denied the rumours of Stevan Jovetic moving elsewhere while insisting that they are interested in signing a few players in the summer.
Fiorentina have insisted that star striker, Jovetic, is not going anywhere as there is a lot speculation surrounding the player to leave the club in the summer transfer window. Viola director of sport, Prade, is aware that the star is wanted by the top European
sides but has ruled out a prospective transfer in the near future.
“We have been clear about Jovetic. He is not on the market,” he said. “There is a word given to the boy by the president: at the end of the season they would talk together, but those are the conditions, otherwise we keep him happy.”
The club official claimed that they are not ready to part ways with the striker just yet and as a result, he is not available for a transfer away from the club. The president has spoken to the young prodigy and will do so again once the current season ends,
but till then nothing is certain and he is happy to stay put.
“There has been no bid [from Juventus], only a meeting between the president and the agent Cognigni Ramadani. Jovetic did not say he would move. It is a discussion between him and the president,” he mused.
On the other hand, Juventus FC have not made a formal bid for the attacker. However, a meeting has taken place between the president and his agent Cognigni Ramadani. Moreover, Stevan has not asked for a transfer and he will decide his future soon enough.
“It’s an open discourse with Malaga. We will discuss and see if the conditions are correct,” he stated.
