Fire Height Spec set to win Betfred Steel City Cup – Heat 2
The B. Draper trained white and black dog, Fire Height Spec, is all set to stand first in the Betfred Steel City Cup – Heat 2 that will take place at Sheffield racecourse on Tuesday night, July 31. The Open Race over 500 meters is scheduled to commence at
19:42 (GMT).
In the £150 event, the two-year-old young and enthusiastic hound will face five strong rivals after breaking from the blue box.
The dashing dog picked up a lot of confidence by winning his last two OR events at Sheffield. First, he grabbed the title of the Tek Recruitment Challenge Stakes by the big margin of 6 ¼ lengths on July 17 and then stood first in the Betfred Steel City Cup
Trial Stakes – Dup on July 24.
Prior to this, the talented son of Premier Fantasy out of Fireheight Jane accomplished a grand victory in the Barbados Standard Trophy – Heat 3 at Coventry on June 24. That was also an OR contest.
In the month of April, the young and enthusiastic sprinter marvellously accomplished four tremendous triumphs in a row. He also won the Mark Hill Puppy Trophy at Coventry on May 20. He was the 4-5 favourite for that race.
These glaring stats suggest that Fire Height Spec owns a lot of talent and credentials that will help him make a big impact in tonight’s marathon. Overall, he has up to 95 percent chances to finish first.
However, the dog will have to be wary of Skywalker Louie who has achieved a number of iconic feats since the dawn of the calendar year. From April 17 to May 8, the E. Parker trained blue and white dog won three high-profile open races in a row.
The son of Top Honcho out of Synone Starlight moved on to register two more classic victories on May 22 and June 5 at Sheffield. He elegantly made another hat-trick from June 19 to July 10.
Considering this success streak, it is expected that the veteran hound will prove to be fairly fatal for Fire Height Spec. Let us see who of the two worthy contestants carries the day. Good luck to them.
