Fire a State Trooper - why?

Okay, so Sarah Palin is/was under investigation for trying to have her sisters ex-husband fired from the State Police. While this may seem a trifle vindictive and an abuse of power does anyone know the real reason why she wanted this man GONE.

Surely there must be deeper underlying issues involved. here. I can't see her jeopardizing her political career over a simple divorce issue. What else did this man do to incur her wrath.

Does anyone know the REAL FACTS?

And can this be made to " GO AWAY" or will it follow her for the rest of her Political career? Other Politicians have done a lot worse and they are still at the public trough.

No, but she pissed a lot of people off in alaska by fighting big oil,pork projects, and going after ted stevens. So i think a lot of people are just trying to discredit her. And lets face it the cop needed to be fired he tasered an 11 year old boy and theatened to kill his grandfather, he shouldn't have a job.
