Fire alarm problem?

Question

i was called to look at a fire alarm, it has a zone fault, some one diconnected a smoke to decorate & has fitted back wrong, it is e o l, where do i fit the connections, it has

1 com

2 in

3 out

it has a resistor & is wired in fireproof cable with blue, brown & earth

this is the last device on the zone & ive tried lots of combinations but havn't got it right yet

can someone tell me what do do as it must be so easy

As for the blue, black and earth look at any other smoke detector and wire accordingly. The EOL resistor should go from 1com to 3 out. Good luck!

yep, just check one of the other smoke heads and follow it. Thats what i would do. All systems are different but some you have to link across two of the connections. Just check and see on another one. Sorry, its years since ive done any work on them.
