Im going camping in france and i was wondering if there are any restrictions on having fires?

    Risks of bush fire are really present everywhere in the south and namely during the drought..

    This is an offence to lit a fire...

Just reinforcing the two above, if you light up a fire in France, especially in the south, you will go straight to prison, do not pick up your token, do not expect any pity, especially in summer season. One little spark carried by the wind over pine trees surrounded by inflammable fumes coming from the drying sap can start a seven days fire that will destroy a good amount of woods... and villages. The rest of France is not that flammable, unless there's a drought, but it is still forbidden to make fire in the wild. In dedicated camping sites it can be permissible, but ask first.

  3. it is absolutly forbiden to light fire in nature in France, especialy in south.
