Firecracker Jack primed to win Standard Final
On the card of the Stadium Bookmakers Standard Final, Firecracker Jack seems to be in the most favourable position to notch up top spot in the ace race.
The high-profile Open Race over a distance of 500 meters is scheduled to take place at Nottingham track on Monday night, April 23. Containing £400 in the prize purse, the race will commence at 21:22 (GMT).
Firecracker Jack is all set to confidently face five rivals such as Cavecourt Derry, Romeo Energy, Mays Stewart, Romeo Absolute and Fifis Romeo.
The T. Munslow-trained black dog is on the brink of a hat-trick at the moment. The four-year-old veteran runner excellently won two races in a row on April 7 and 16. These couple of epic triumphs perked up his winning momentum to a great extent.
Since the dawn of 2012, the dashing dog has been enjoying great form. After bagging three victories in January, he nicely won a race on February 7. The maverick sprinter attained two terrific triumphs in the month of March as well.
Overall, the talented son of Hades Rocket out of Classy Clover possesses a splendid track record. His career is marked with sheer consistency.
If Firecracker Jack manages to unleash enough firepower on the flat track, he will surely be able to make a big impact tonight. His chances to finish first are as high as 93 percent.
However, Mays Stewart can give him tough time as the L.Troughton-trained white and black dog is going to run with a favourite tag. The veteran hound registered two fabulous victories each with a mammoth margin of 8 ¼ lengths on March 19 and April 16.
Romeo Absolute is also likely to do well in the race. D. Firmager’s black dog has been winning with regular intervals since the very beginning of the calendar year. After earning a couple of consecutive runner-up ranks in the first decade of April 2012,
he went ahead to finish first in his last outing on April 16.
In this situation, Firecracker Jack will have to face some arduous challenges on the track. However, he will be able to make his way towards victory convincingly. Good luck to all the hounds.
