Question:

Fired because work performance wasn't high enough?

I just on fired because they said that I miss to many days. But when I missed days I gave them a d**n good reason. Also because I was late to many times(they say this even though I have to ride the bus to work, and I would call them if I new I was going to be late.) But what gets me is that they told me my work performance was going down. They told that they meant to talk to me about it but didn't get to.

That makes me wonder if that they where planing to get rid off me regardless of my work performance. I wish would have quit before they "let me go". WHY AM I SO PISSED!?

God I hate work place middle men and their stupid politics

  1. That is why I'm self employed and train horse's during the summer and not humans ok..I was working during the day as interperter and I guit because I was not given a time frame to visit Mexico..for family emergency so,That is why I guit and it paid very good ..I mean family comes first if is life and death ya know..Don't trip plenty of more jobs out there just work harder and be on time in next job okay.

I'm a horse shoe ferrier I train horses for running and adventure walking..I have lived in ranch growing up so..Is something in my blood and natural.I mean is decent living and I pay bills and save money during winter and make decent living..lol..I think and know I have best job ever..they need bad horse trainers..Look it up and see if something you would do..I work alone..So..is what you can handle..It might sound crazy but..horses are more patient than people and smarter..and easier to train imagine training a HUMAN lol..lol..no..is like seeing a man in training bra lol..FUNNY lol..well..good luck with job hunting I been there and it sucks chulo..just kiss *** and you will be cool in job world lol..I don't kiss *** and hate working with people I realized that the hard way..I prefer working with animals period..No matter how much you pay me..I can't work with ppl..lol..

  2. it sounds to me like you, for whatever reasons you may have had, are unreliable. being late and missing work are major things when you are running a business. the work performance was probably just an excuse. welcome to the business world.

  3. Employers either like you or they don't. If they really liked you they would let that stuff slide. If they are looking for excuses to get rid of you then that's what they'll do. Good luck finding something else that suits you better!

...that of course depends on which industry you're in. If your job relies on you being there then you have to be there.

  4. Perhaps you need to work really really hard at your next job, show up on time every time and prove to be a really valuable employee. Then, if you are really lucky you can become a work place middle man and find out just how frustrating and difficult it is to operate a business when 90% of the available workforce is lazy, unreliable and tardy (sorta like you).

  5. I hate to tell you, but the problem is in the mirror. your method of getting to work is not their problem-it's yours-when you're late it causes them to be short

when you miss work it creates shortages again-your problems are your problems-not theirs-it's your responsibility to be at work and be at work on time

it will not be any better at your next place of employment, and it will get progressively harder to get employment-the more you job hop the less employers will want to gamble on your staying. they are allowed to explain your attendance problem when contacted by a perspective employer.

as they say in the old days you need a serious attitude adjustment-or you're going to be way more pissed in the future

  6. As a manager for over 30 years people like you are losers.  You are not worth my time to baby sit.  If you are old enough to work then you should be responsible enough to show up for work. You are only an asset to a company if you produce and I don’t think you have any concept of that.  Put your self in your supervisor’s shoes, he gets his people to produce or he gets fired for not doing his job (producing).  It is your responsibility to protect your job by showing up, on time, and being productive.  Don’t blame anyone but yourself.
