Firefighter 2 cert. IS THERE A FINAL TEST?

Is there a big final exam at the end of FF2 training. Is it given by the state? Or do you have to just pass the class. Also, anyone know of good study materials. How hard is it to get your cert?

There should be a state test at the end of your program.  This test includes practical evolutions and a written test.  The Essentials book has everything you need.  There are also study materials do not read or study well, but really, keep your nose in Essentials of Firefighting and you'll do well.  For the practicals, just know and practice your stuff.  There should be a list of possible practical stations in the test book, pay close attention to automatic fail points.

Your instructors want you to do well.  If you pay attention is class you will have no problem with this certification.
