  1. Firefox

    Reliable

    Safe

    Awesome Extras

    Free

    Open-Source

  2. Firefox and Safari are both excellent choices, for reliability, safety, standards compliance, et al, but with Safari you will note more integration with iTunes and Office 2008. Good luck.

  3. Firefox

  4. Safari = safest, but very few add-ons

Firefox = lots of add-ons, but some bugs

Camino = Firefox that looks like Safari (made by Mozilla, who made Firefox). No add-ons. Security on Camino = IDK

Safari would probably be the best if security is an issue

Firefox would be best if you want the get the most out of your browser.

Camino would be best if you want to get the most from both worlds.

  5. The one I keep coming back to is Safari. I really want to like Firefox, but on OS X it's slow and extremely clunky compared to Safari (things which I hear are apparently mirrored by Safari on Windows...?), and there are a few differences in the keyboard shortcuts that I dislike. Safari isn't anywhere near as customizable as Firefox (despite having a decent number of plugins available for it), but really, I don't need it to be. I just want a browser, not a circus. :P I'll admit I haven't tried Camino in a long time; maybe I'll download it soon just to give it another spin.
