Firefox doesn't load when I click it?

Question

I've been using it for about a year, but now when I click on it, NOTHING happens, it doesn't come on.

However in Windows System Manager in Processes it comes up with FIREFOX.EXE, it just won't come up.

Help - I am on Safari right now.

I don't think you have to reinstall it. I've had the same  problem myself occasionally. It may be that a Firefox process never got shut down properly. If a Firefox session did not get shut down properly, the computer still thinks it is running and won't allow another one to start.

You can try going into the task manager to shut down all of the Firefox processes. However the easiest way would be to reboot the machine.

could be a recent update or your session manager files got corrupted.....just reinstall firefox, select the advanced setup and follow through...if it still won't come up after that could be a firewall thing, or some other security program blocking it.

reinstall it
