can i volunteer as a fireman once a week if im eighteen?

Volunteer firefighters do not limit themselves to one day a week. A lot of time and money goes into training you and outfitting you.  Drop in and visit at the local firehouse and ask some questions.  They should have a handout with a lot of info.
