Firewall settings on computer?

how do you add a program to your firewall settings?

where are the firewall settings?

Right click on the icon in your tray.Look for exclusions or trusted programs, you can add what you want there.

If you are using the Windows Firewall, programs will be automatically added. If you are using another firewall for example Zone-alarm than you will have to open Zone-alarm control panel. Go to program control at the left tabs. On the right in the upper right corner there are 2 tabs you go to programs. After that you can select the program you want and right-click on the program on the question mark to add a program. If you want the program to access the internet you have to left click and select allow.

But there are a lot of other firewalls out there so you'll have to first post which firewall you are using to give you the proper advice.
