Fireworks Question?

On all of my fireworks, there are Plastic and Paper on the top part where the Sparks and the other things come out of. Am i suppose to remove the paper/plastic? The fuse is outside the paper/plastic where you can light it. But I was wondering if Im suppose to remove the paper b4 I light it

Don't listen to them, I forgot too last year, because we hadn't done it in a while. Remove the plastic, not the paper. It really doesn't matter if the plastic stays on it. It won't affect the performance of it.

You shouldn't be setting off fireworks if you need to ask this question. Have you seen what can happen when you don't know what you're doing???

most of the time you are supposed to keep it on. but if the fuse is hidden underneath the plastic (never paper) then you should probably take it off. usually you don't though. it should just be sticking out of the plastic. happy 4th of july!

no dont take the paper off...the only thing you should take off is the clear tape(if there is any) thats over the fuse/wick. never take off the paper
