Firmware Upgrade for 3.5 DVR Player/Recrorder?

I bought a DVR from eBay and want to update the firmware as the original sucks. The manual says it is updateable but I have no idea where to download it. There is no name on this PVR just 3.5" DVR player/recorder. Are most firmware interchangeable on these models? Hi Adventure,

No, all firmware will not interchange. You need the correct one.

I see what you mean in the pictures. No name. How about a serial number. Sometimes you can Google them & get a manufactuer from the first few letters.
