My friend and I were debating about whether or not they charge you when they treat you at a first aid station at an amusement park. So i asked a question here and found the answer..

now she brought up another question.. if your under 18 and you go to a first aid station at an amusement park do you have to have someone who is over 18 sign something in order for them to take care of whatever it is that's wrong with you? i say no unless it's really serious and u need to go to the hospital because people under 18 go to amusement parks without people over 18 sometimes so there's not always someone there.. he says yes someone does have to sign.. so what's the answer?

do you have to have someone who is over 18 sign something in order for them to take care of whatever it is that's wrong with you?

haha..i dont know why she keeps bringing stuff like this up but it is a good question

  1. when you are underage you can make a phone call and get attention. if it is serious they will definately have to call for approval but will still do what is normally necessary while awaiting approval.

  2. My friend felt sick when we were at universal studios...and we went to get Tylenol...she was 16 years old and they told her that they have to call her mother and the guy had to talk and ask for permission for him to give the medicine to her...so ya lol

  3. Never really thought about this question but if someone is injured and seeking aid, I would think that you need a signature as proof that whatever happened to so and so isn't their fault and they won't be reliable for it.

My friend once lost a shoe on a ride and he had to go through a bunch of stuff to get it back, including signing paper.

  4. Ok so this might sound kinda funny: but i went to the dells last year with my friend and i was standing in line for a ride and i passed out TWICE, thankfully my friend n i met a lifeguard that wasnt working that day and he knew obviously what to do and they treated me at the first aid tent.  I was 17 and my dad was at the park but  didnt know that the incident happened.  But like they didnt give me medicine they just gave me what n stuff..

When it comes to paying.. I dont think you would have to charge to get help at a park.  That's why they are their to help you.  Grant it if they had to take you to the hospital then yeah but otherwards i would say no.
