  1. You go in and wait in line to have your baggage taken away and tagged(if your going american airlines then your tag will have that and your info on it if it gets lost.) Then you go through security(take your shoes off andput carry-on items (and your 3 ounce c**p)through x-ray then you get em back and go to your terminal and wait like 2 hours for your plane to come. while your waiting they have a bunch of stores and fast food restraunts you can look around.

  2. if uu wanna save $

    pack lite

  3. All public access to an airport is channeled through the terminal, where every person must walk through a metal detector and all items must go through an X-ray machine.

The first security check that your checked bags go through depends on the airport. In the United States, most major airports have a computer tomography (CT) scanner.

make sure you get to the airport in plenty of time! We recommend the following check-in times for flights:

two hours prior to departure if you are flying to  domestic flight destination

three hours prior to departure if you are flying to a oversea destination

    How does it work?

You put your passport, credit card or frequent flyer card in the reader scanner

    You enter the required information.

You are offered the possibility to change the reserved seats.

You round off the check-in process and receive your boarding pass.

You go to the Drop-off Point (the existing check-in desks) to check in your (hold) baggage

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening.

Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

3-1-1 is for short trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage.

Declare larger liquids. Medications, baby formula and food, breast milk, and juice are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding three  3 ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.

Come early and be patient. Heavy travel volumes and the enhanced security process may mean longer lines at security checkpoints.
