First Babysitting Job:: 3 little girls and im only 13!?

Question

Its my first time ever babysitting someone elses kids that arent part of my own family. People call me "the mother" of my younger brothers because it usually seems like a take better care of them than my mom. Im not nervous about having to babysit so much, but im worried about if they'll even like me or if they'll be bored with me. The 3 girls are ages 2, 5, and i think 8; so i know they need to be kept kinda busy, but how? Please please give me some advice on activities. And also, how much should i charge. Im experienced but i have no training and the mother will be there but working..

Ok. i was thirteen when i started babysitting its easy do some fun things

like craftz and gamez i do macoroni pictures and i bring like suckerz and thingz to reward them and i play with them liek toyz and such have them play tag or hide and seek you also can do a time consumer like have them play outside or sumthing dont worrie try to have some fun with the kidz.

Well you want activities that all 3 of them would enjoy. Maybe bring them to a local park for a while to play and then have a picnic there. Some parks have small water pools with sprinklers if theres one nearby you could walk there.They might like to go to a movie. If you have limited time then play a board game or a scavenger hunt. I think they would like it if you brought stuff of your own such as dolls, barbies or crafts such as beads, gimp, or colouring supplies.

MAYBE, A SCAVENGER HUNT, OR BOARD GAMES, MOVIES, PLAYING OUTSIDE, ARTS 'N' CRAFTS, DRESS UP, ETC.

THATS ALWAYS HARD FOR ME BECAUSE I USUALLY ONLY BABYSIT MY COUSINS. I GET $3 AN HOUR.. BUT SINCE THEY AREN'T FAMILY..I WOULD MAYBE SAY $6-$8 AN HOUR?

Well, at those older ages, you can do something with them that requires a bit more thought, like maybe a scavenger hunt.  Bring a list of common household items that you probably could easily find in their house (a pen, something blue, a bottle cap, a paper clip, etc.) and go around the house with all three of them as you cross each item off the list.

Don't sweat over this situation.....if there is trouble the mom will be there to help. Ask the kids what they like to do. Watch a movie or something

here are some ideas to entertain them

buy a few cheap 'prizes' (small candy bars, little toys, etc) and have them do different races, like who can run the farthest, jump the highest, etc. they can pick the contests, and all you have to do is sit back and watch

-take them to the beach or a pond! bring a few toys/floaties etc

-play tv tag. kids love this game because its easy to get 'unfrozen'. one person is 'it' and runs around trying to tag the other kids. once the kids get tagged, they freeze, but once they say a television show, they can run again.

- turn on the hose and spray them, play water tag, buy a few cheap water guns, let them take turns spraying the hose, etc

-chalk is always fun! draw them a four square board, hopscotch, have them draw a self portrait, etc.

dress up, board games, wiffleball, catch, frisbee, hide and seek, bubbles............etc

dont worry about charging, just accept what she gives you.

and 3 kids is easyyy

i had 5 kids-2 babies (under one year), 2 five year olds and a seven year old at one time. now thatsss annyoing lol
